JO HUGHES ART
I am a lucky enough to love what I do and do what I love in a wonderful community in south Louisiana. A native of Plaquemines Parish, my work has been heavily influenced by the nature and natural resources of our area. From the music and culture of New Orleans to the beauty of the swamp and marsh - I am lucky enough to live in a place where the inspiration is as diverse as the culture.
Painting in acrylic, large scale sculpture and woodworking are my favorite mediums, but I enjoy working with a wide variety of materials and you never know what you may find in my collection. I have a collection of limited edition prints that have been produced from some of my favorite works. They are printed with pigment ink on 68lb acid free paper, matted with a black gallery quality mat in standard sizes ready to frame.
